Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GEO Scanner is operated by IFAgent (contact: hello@svai.co.uk). We provide an AI visibility analysis tool at geo-scanner-tool.vercel.app. For the purposes of UK GDPR, IFAgent is the data controller.

2. What personal data we collect

We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details, or any special category data. We do not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary for the tool to function.

3. Lawful basis for processing

4. How long we keep your data

• Email address and consent record: up to 12 months from the date of collection, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Cached analysis results: 7 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
• URL scan logs (no email): up to 12 months for service improvement purposes.

5. Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party processors to operate the service. All are bound by appropriate data processing agreements:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting and serverless functions (servers in the USA; Standard Contractual Clauses apply)
• Upstash / Redis — data storage for caching and submission logs
• Resend Inc. — transactional email delivery
• Groq Inc., Google LLC, Anthropic PBC — AI analysis providers (page content is sent for analysis; no personal data other than the URL is included in AI prompts)
• Serper Inc. — web search API (search queries are sent; no personal data is included)

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — you can withdraw marketing consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email, or by contacting us directly

7. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or call 0303 123 1113.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
